We were lucky enough to try the HEAD Radical range before its release, and we loved how we were able to switch up our game with the Radical Pro! The extra weight added more stability, and by keeping the 16x19 string pattern, we were able to get more grip on the ball and generate loads of topspin. We found that the more experienced players of our testers tended to enjoy this racket compared to the intermediate players. It really is a versatile racket, and we found it to be impressive both when it came to groundstrokes, as well as volleys and serves. This racket is commonly referred to as "the people's racket", and we can see why!
We really enjoy this new design, as it does give off that traditional, legendary Radical look. It is also slightly more discreet than its predecessor, and we think it will speak to a larger group of players.

HEAD Radical Pro (2023) Technologies:
Auxetic > This is a material that's built into the graphite of the racket. it is a soft fibre which means that you get more comfort and feel when you play. However, when the material is pulled, it stiffens up. This means that you will get more power on aggressive shots, such as serves and smashes!
Graphene > This is HEAD's most popular technology. By reinforcing the racket around the frame and throat with spiral fibres, you get more stability upon impact with the ball.
Sound Grommet > The sound grommet allowed for the strings to move when you hit the ball. As a result, you get more power.
