De Minaur is known as the ‘Speed Demon’ because of his fast defensive game that involves quick footwork, stunning winners from defensive positions, offensive forehands, and great agility. Along with his defensive capabilities, De Minaur has a powerful first serve and a talent for dynamic groundstrokes, which he uses to endpoints quickly. He has several wins against top 10 players including Denis Shapovalov and Andy Murray. His unique fighting spirit has earned him a huge fan base from young tennis players.

Badosa is an aggressive baseliner, whose game is centred around her powerful serve (her favourite shot to play) and groundstrokes. She usually wins the first serve point, yet she can deploy a variety of shots, including a two handed backhand and a reverse forehand. She was named Sportswoman of the year by the Sunday Times in 2021.

A defensive baseliner, she has made her mark on the WTA Tour with her movement, anticipation, speed, and counterpuncher style of tennis.
